Kevin J. Conlon

Kevin J. Conlon has been Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) for the last three years. Prior to his work at CCAD, Mr. Conlon was Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at Ringling College of Art and Design from 2008 to 2011, and Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design from 2004 to 2008. Mr. Conlon regularly speaks on the value of creativity and the transformative power of art and design’s ability to shape both culture and commerce.

Mr. Conlon has chaired panels and presented papers on the curricular links between art and entrepreneurship, and collaboration and project-based learning at the Southeastern College Art Conference, the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design, and the College Art Association. He maintains an active studio practice.

Mr. Conlon has served NASAD as a visiting evaluator since 2010.

He earned his Master of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University and his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of South Alabama.
