Kate Bukoski is Director of the School of Art and Design and Associate Professor of Graphic Design at East Carolina University (ECU). She has been a member of the faculty at ECU since 2006.
Director Bukoski’s scholarly work leverages her background in graphic design to conduct community-based research. She collaborated with colleagues in economics and anthropology on an NEA-funded project investigating the impacts of creative placemaking.
Director Bukoski holds Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts degrees in Design from the University of Minnesota.
