NASAD is pleased to publish details about the Eighty-Second Annual Meeting. Information regarding Pre-Meeting Workshops, Annual Meeting sessions and events, the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch and its surroundings, and online registration will be located within this section of the website when available. Representatives from accredited institutional members are asked to attend. Representatives from non-member institutions are encouraged to attend and participate. We look forward to welcoming all attendees to the meeting in St. Louis.
Please join us for the Eighty-Second Annual Meeting of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. The 2026 Annual Meeting will feature multiple topics of particular importance to art and design executives today including:
- Designing and Implementing Relevant Curricular Programs
- Developing Effective Foundations Programs
- Exploring the Role of AI in the Curriculum
- Managing Resources in Times of Scarcity
- Budgeting and Budget Planning
- Addressing Facilities Issues in the Short- and Long-Term
- Developing Industry Partnerships
- Considering the Impact of Federal Policies on Post-Secondary Institutions
The Annual Meeting will be preceded by Pre-Meeting Workshops for both new and experienced administrators. These workshops will focus on topics of interest to attendees such as:
- Developing Leadership Styles
- Engaging and Working with Faculty
- Financial Management
- Strategic Planning
- Working with Upper Administrators
In addition, these Pre-Meeting Workshops will offer an opportunity for attendees to gather with colleagues to explore issues of common concern and interest.
In addition to Pre-Meeting and Annual Meeting topic-focused sessions, training workshops will be offered for those preparing Self-Studies and applications for Commission reviews, those interested in gaining a more in-depth understanding of the NASAD standards, and for individuals interested in serving NASAD as visiting evaluators.
Representatives from accredited institutional members are asked to attend the Annual Meeting to participate in the programming noted above and to vote on behalf of their institutions in conducting the annual business of the Association. The NASAD Pre-Meeting and Annual Meetings are open to art/design administrators from both accredited and potential member institutions. Individuals aspiring to become art/design administrators are welcome to attend.
Annual Meeting Registration
Online registration is coming soon.
After online registration closes on September 18, 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, registration for Pre-Meeting Workshops and the Annual Meeting may be accomplished on site at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15. On-site registration will be assessed an additional fee of $25. To expedite on-site processing, please bring a completed registration form.
